Challenge 

The previous BetaView website presented challenges in user navigation, visual hierarchy, and call-to-action (CTA) clarity. The design lacked modern aesthetics, leading to decreased user engagement and conversion rates.

Heuristic Evaluation Findings 

Old Website Issues

Cluttered Hero Section: Overlapping elements with competing CTAs.
Inconsistent Typography: Multiple font styles and sizes causing visual dissonance.
Navigation Confusion: Overloaded menu with unclear categorisation.
Lack of Trust Signals: Minimal display of certifications or warranties.
Non-Responsive Design: Poor mobile adaptability affecting user experience

UX Redesign Solutions

  1. Hero Section Optimisation
    Before:
    Multiple CTAs and dense layout caused user hesitation.
    After: A single, high-impact CTA (“Get a Free Quote”) and simplified message focus attention.
  2. Navigation Improvements
    Before:
    Clunky menu structure with poor organisation.
    After: Reorganised top-level navigation with clearer categories and reduced visual noise.
  3. Trust Signal Visibility
    Before:
    Key assurances like the 10-year warranty were buried in text.
    After: Badges, association logos, and guarantees are front and centre near CTAs.
  4. Responsive Design
    Before:
    Inconsistent performance across devices.
    After: Mobile-first approach with optimised layouts, larger tap targets, and improved load speeds.
  5. Visual Clarity
    Before:
    Outdated imagery, cramped layouts, and misaligned content.
    After: Modern cards, clean grid system, and balanced use of imagery and whitespace.
